Collaboration with Westfield Liverpool

Hi all,

Now that Eid is around the corner, I have been having a think of what I want to wear to celebrate this special occasion. Looking back at all my past outfits, I have come to realise that every Eid, the girly side of me comes out!

(By girly I mean a dress that I can twirl in; something that makes me feel like I’m a princess dancing in a ballroom… a girl can dream)

With that in mind, I decided to find the perfect maxi dress, that I can wear not only for a special occasion like Eid, but also wear on a casual basis. Thankfully Westfield Liverpool has me covered this Eid, with a wide range of stores, I’m bound to find that gorgeous piece that I need in my life!

Here are my Top 3 Tips to Eid Dressing:

1. Have an idea of what you want to wear.

For example “I want a nice maxi dress that’s not too figure hugging”. So now your mind is set on a maxi dress, I guarantee that all you’ll be seeing are maxi dresses! It’s also important to ask “can I wear this outfit again?
”.

2. Go into a store you have never been in.  

You’ll be quite surprised by what you find - when I was looking for what to wear, I walked into Universal Store and there was one dress I couldn’t take my eyes off! I went to a few stores but my heart was already set on that dress, so I had to get it.


3. You need to be comfortable - 

Is your outfit going to survive all day?

I’m not sure what everyone does on Eid but I know that I visit about 7 or 8 houses in one day after our Eid Prayer, so I always look for material that is comfy to wear (which means that after the 6th plate of food I still have space to move around)!

Instead of buckling it, try tying a knot. So if you see somewhere wearing the same thing, at least you know yours has better detailing (it's all about the details)

 You know its going to be cold in the early mornings on Eid, so experiment with different materials, i chose to wear a beanie that had some fine details, if i do say so myself!

Kester Black Nail Polish

See I told you I would be back! So today's post is about a new nail polish range called KESTER BLACK and yup you guessed it!!! It's water permeable and breathable, which makes it healthier for the nail and good for muslim woman! Wuuuu!!!!

I was sent three different colours and a top coat from Jacinta (thank you!!) and wow, just wow!
This nail polish is not only water permeable and breathable, it is Vegan Friendly, Cruelty Free, Cruelty Free International and Vegan Society. It's also proudly made and owned in Australia!

I tried it on for a week to test out the quality. I was very satisfied with it! It was so easy to put on with just one glide. The brush was soft and felt amazing! It's a really good brush because the brush itself is fat and a little flat, so it's easier to put on in one go. I really loved how it didn't easily get scratched like other breathable nail polishes.

All in all they have a lot of amazing colours! I was lucky enough to receive some colours, that I am loving right now... but I already have my eye on a limited edition one that they did in collaboration with Pantone.

Not only do they sell nail polish, they also sell hand & body care which are cruelty free and vegan, like hand wash, body wash and all that jazz!

Its a pleasure having you back...unpredictable weather and all.

Hi Guys, hope your are all in good health?! If you didn't know already, I'm from Sydney, Australia and here, it's the 1st (few days) of AUTUMN! It is so pretty this time of the year! The leaves and branches go a bit darker, but more vibrant at the same time. I love how mysterious it looks. So as you do, you go into the woods to take photos hahaha #bloggerlife Happy Autumn! My New Best Friend.

I know its been awhile. Ive been so busy planning holidays designing, getting my second child ready for kindy...the list goes on Allhamdullilah.
So i recently just came back from Bali for one of my close friends wedding! (which was stunning!) and also some family time. And the weather...was HOT!! So while everyone is walking around in singlets and shorts, i'm here trying to figure out what i can wear.

THANK GOODNESS i packed my Bamboo Body Skirt!! That Skirt saved my life! LOL
The material is made out of Bamboo which makes it soooooo soft and breathable, the best for this kind of weather! I just wished i had it in all colours! I would of lived in it!

The skirt is Amazing it doesn't stick to you while walking, still has a nice shape after numerous washes. I found that you could use it as a high waisted skirt (if you're short like me) or as is. The Skirt makes you feel like a princess cause of its flow, i just wanted to walk around waving my hand like i was a princess hahhaa

I also received the Hi Lo Hem Top, which did wonders for me! It was one of those hot scorching days in sydney...where everything you wear would be a disaster! But this time round i was good, the top isn't figuring hugging which makes alot of room for the air to flow thru. I also just loved the fact that i could swing my top side to side...(again the princess affect hit me lol)

Forgive me for my absence but i've been major holidaying and shall continue tomorrow iA. So here i am the first post of the year! YEY!! And are you one of those girls that are looking for something to wear while swimming?? Sick of wearing your husbands t shirt? coming out of the pool dripping in heavy clothes?? LOOK no further (but continue reading lol)

House Of Fraser were nice enough to send me a swimsuit by Shorso a New UK brand who specialize in Modest clothing for various occasions and fashion swimwear,
As i was overseas,i didn't get to use it till i got back! My first thought when i saw the swimsuit was...
Cute!! i thinks its going to make me look like a cheerleader!! oOOoohh preetttyyyy! Hrmmm its two piece?...wow they gave me two headpieces!!

Those were my thoughts hahahah but i didn't want to judge it till i tried it!
So a few days ago i went to the pools with my kids, i was a bit embarrassed to wear just the swimsuit out so i used a light weight cardigan over the swimsuit, a scarf over the headpiece and was ready to go!

Once we got there i took off my cardigan but didn't feel comfortable wearing the head piece, so i made my scarf into a turban. Theres nothing wrong with the head piece but i think it was just a lack of confidence in my end. Allhamdullilah
So we played in the water play area and it was doing its job but i really wanted to test this swimsuit out. So i jumped in the big pool played for a bit with the kids, then obviously got out and to my surprise it didn't feel heavy at all (in my head YAAASSSSS you get a tick!)
Then i started to walk to my towel and realised i really didn't need to dry myself coz i was dripping, like there were drips here and there but it wasn't major! (in my head WUUUHHUUUU you just got another tick) So i sat on my towel so warm up usually by this point my towel would be soaking wet..but this time it was good it was only wet where i sat AMAZIINNNGG!!!

So at this point im like YEAHHH this swim suit is really good!! i liked how i didn't drip, how it felt light when i got out of the pool, wasn't soaking wet, and i looked....cute! hehehehe
