Westfield Liverpool Eid Challenge

Hi All,

I hope you're doing well, especially the ones fasting! Thankfully in Australia its only a quick 11hrs. (lol)

Recently I got to work with one of my local Westfield centres, Westfield Liverpool (NSW) and I forgot how amazing it was!! A lot of new stores have opened recently and it looks sooo pretty. With

all the new stores, I can pretty much find everything under one roof for my family and I!

They gave me a "Family Eid Styling Challenge" and as you know I'm always up for a challenge! I got to work with seven very different stores. Before heading to Westfield Liverpool, I made sure I had a theme going, which as you will see, is the colour Navy. I think Navy is such a winter colour - it's dark but vibrant at the same time and because Eid is in Winter, I thought it was definitely meant to be!

My New Best Friend.

I know its been awhile. Ive been so busy planning holidays designing, getting my second child ready for kindy...the list goes on Allhamdullilah.
So i recently just came back from Bali for one of my close friends wedding! (which was stunning!) and also some family time. And the weather...was HOT!! So while everyone is walking around in singlets and shorts, i'm here trying to figure out what i can wear.

THANK GOODNESS i packed my Bamboo Body Skirt!! That Skirt saved my life! LOL
The material is made out of Bamboo which makes it soooooo soft and breathable, the best for this kind of weather! I just wished i had it in all colours! I would of lived in it!

The skirt is Amazing it doesn't stick to you while walking, still has a nice shape after numerous washes. I found that you could use it as a high waisted skirt (if you're short like me) or as is. The Skirt makes you feel like a princess cause of its flow, i just wanted to walk around waving my hand like i was a princess hahhaa

I also received the Hi Lo Hem Top, which did wonders for me! It was one of those hot scorching days in sydney...where everything you wear would be a disaster! But this time round i was good, the top isn't figuring hugging which makes alot of room for the air to flow thru. I also just loved the fact that i could swing my top side to side...(again the princess affect hit me lol)

How are we all?
My oh my what a fun and busy week i've had!
Let me start by Thanking HOLDEN AUSTRALIA!! Thank You for the New Car!! lol jokes!
No Really Thank You so much for the opportunity!!!
So the story goes a little something like this...
A few weeks ago Holden Australia's Instagram (#holdenstreetstyle) held a competition to celebrate the New Stylish European Range. The winner got to go to an Exclusive Fashion Event and to Meet The King of Street Style Photography, Mr Scott Schuman aka The Sartorialist!!! All you had to do was post your Best Street Style Look. So i thought why not enter!! No harm done, if i don't win.

A few weeks past and i got a comment on one of my pictures i posted, saying that they would love to offer me an invitation to the event. And i was like wuuuhhhuuuu i must of came second because i got invited hahahha.....little did i know.

So on Tuesday Night my cousin and i went to the event, we got there super early and saw no one there hahahha. So we went walking around central park (OMG that place is amazing!) and found a little alley with asian restaurants. When the time came we got to Automata and it was full of people already! So we walked around looked at all the awesome photos, ate some yummy finger food and one of my highlights of the night was whenever someone from Holden would introduce themselves to me, they were truly genuinely sooooo nice to me and made me feel so comfortable, they Congratulated me and looked after me. I loved how they noticed me and took the time to talk to me and didn't just see me as the competition winner! Made my Night!!! What also made my night was meeting and talking to the man himself Mr Scott Schuman! When you talk to him he makes you feel very comfortable (like while i was waiting to talk to him, i was saying to my cousin what do you say to someone so well known?? i was completely blank) like i could of talked to him for hours.

Anyways i'm babbling on too much Just want to say again Thank You Bec and the Team from Holden for giving me the opportunity to meet one of the reasons why i started this blog!!
